Text:The SX.25 Administrator's Guide explains how to configure a Silicon Graphics system to operate as a host on one or more X.25 LANs or WANs. This guide is written for system and network administrators who are experienced in setting up network hosts and are familiar with the requirements of PSDN connections; however, the graphical administrator interface and the instructions in the X.25 Administrator's Guide greatly simplify the configuration task. Introductory chapters in the guide describe the features of the Silicon Graphics X.25 implementation, illustrating the connectivity options that it offers. A quick-start chapter provides instructions that can cut time from the configuration process, and detailed procedures explain how to use menus to configure the protocol stack and the user applications that it supports (PAD, TCP/IP, and UUCP services as well as custom applications). The online version of the X.25 Administrator's Guide is included as part of the SX.25 software product.
